Unexpected complications

This past week has been rough. Really rough. After breaking out in an itchy rash Tuesday night I went to the doctor Wednesday and they diagnosed me with PUPPP. It is a pregnancy related rash that will continue until I deliver Anna Lee. Oh joy! Then Thursday morning the real fun started. I started vomiting as soon as I got to work and left work about 8:30am. I got home and took some nausea medicine I have and went to bed. I woke up off and on to get sick and I kept getting HORRIBLE stomach cramps. Finally about 10:30 I decided I better call the doctor to see if I could take some phenagran. Instead I was told I needed to go to the hospital and the doctor had already sent orders in for me to get fluids. So we packed up, took Emma to Nannie and Poppy and headed to the hospital and it was a horrible ride. I kept getting sick and I think that the cramps were way worse than any contraction or gallbladder  attack pain I have ever felt. We get to the hospital and after they asked me everything from my name to my education completed, they hooked me up to zofran and IV fluids. I started feeling better and then everything went crazy. My temp started to shoot up, my pulse shot up, my blood pressure dropped rock bottom, Anna's heart rate was going crazy and I started having contractions every 2-3 minutes. After 8 bags of fluid, 28 hours in the hospital, and about a dozen tubes of blood drawn, I am home. We still are not positive it was a stomach bug or something else. We are waiting on a lot of test results and I will go back to the doctor on Monday. Until then I am on bed rest for the weekend. This was the first time I had ever been hospitalized for sickness the only other time I had spent the night in the hospital was when I had Emma. Today I am really sore just because the hospital beds are evil. But I definitely do not want to go through that again. 6 more weeks and then we can go back and hopefully come home with a healthy, beautiful bundle of joy!
