Daddy and Emma!This year we tagged along to Orlando for vacation. We moved Uncle Ben to Orlando, since he is starting school there and we thought while we were there we would take Emma on her first visit to Disney. We talked about this with Emma many weeks in advance and I kept telling her we were going to Mickey's house! So after the 16 hour trip to Orlando with a 3 car convoy we made it. Emma did awesome on the trip down there! Especially considering we had just taken her pacifier from her about a week before. But we made it the whole trip without it so we are officially paci free!!!
We got there on Monday and the very next day we got up early and drove about 5 minutes to Magic Kingdom. I was praying that the experience would be all that I dreamed. You know, the commercials of the families having an awesome time and all smiles.... thats what I wanted. But I was afraid we would get there and she would have a melt down, want a nap, hate the characters and not ride anything. Well it was all that dreamed! She was totally excited and got to see Mickey during the opening show, she rode in her stroller, rode ALL the rides and LOVED them, wasn't afraid of any of the characters, and the only time she cried was because she wanted to ride the carousel again. :) We had an amazing day and i plan to take her back every chance I can. She came out of the day with two giant balloons, a Special Agent Oso bear, and a bucket of princess toys. It was a day that she will never remember and I will never forget.

Awe, I'm so glad you all had a good time! Yay for being paci free too! That's a big deal!
